01 · Privacy summary

The Apps do not collect personal information.

Aviation Study Guides does not require users to create an account inside its mobile Apps and does not ask users to provide a name, email address, telephone number, postal address, precise location, contacts, payment details, or any other information that directly identifies them.

No in-app account

No registration or user profile is required to use the study content.

No advertising profile

We do not build profiles for behavioral advertising or sell user information.

No developer database

The Apps do not upload personal information to a user database operated by us.

02 · Scope

Applications covered by this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to mobile applications published by Aviation Study Guides, including E-Jets Training Guide, Embraer 145 Training Guide, CRJ Training Guide, 737 Training Guide, 787 Training Guide, CIAAC Test Pro, PPTest Pro, and related editions or updates that link to this page.

In this policy, “Apps” means those mobile applications and “we,” “us,” or “our” means Aviation Study Guides. The policy describes the Apps’ data practices. A website form, an app store, an operating system, or a third-party site may operate under its own privacy terms.

03 · Information

Information we do not collect through the Apps

The Apps do not collect, transmit to us, or store on our servers the following categories of user information:

  • Personal identifiers: names, email addresses, usernames, telephone numbers, postal addresses, government identifiers, or account credentials.
  • Financial information: credit card numbers, bank account details, billing information, or payment credentials.
  • Location: precise or approximate geographic location, movement history, or background location.
  • Contacts and communications: address books, call history, text messages, emails, or private communications.
  • Personal files: photos, videos, documents, calendars, or files stored on the device.
  • Sensitive information: health information, biometric information, race or ethnicity, religious or political beliefs, sexual orientation, or similar sensitive attributes.
  • Advertising information: advertising identifiers or cross-app activity used to create an advertising profile.

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, use it for targeted advertising, or share it with data brokers. Because the Apps do not collect personal information for us, there is no developer-held personal profile created from normal app use.

04 · App operation

How privacy works inside the Apps

The Apps provide aviation study material, question banks, reference content, diagrams, images, explanations, converters, and interactive training features. User actions such as opening a topic, selecting an answer, moving between screens, adjusting an App preference, or reviewing a training diagram are used only to provide the requested function.

When an App saves a preference or study state locally, that information remains on the user’s device and is not associated by us with a real-world identity. Local data is controlled through the device. It can generally be removed by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App.

The Apps do not use personal information to make automated decisions, determine eligibility, calculate credit or insurance outcomes, or create a marketing profile.

05 · Device permissions

Permissions are limited to App functionality

An App may request a technical permission only when the operating system requires it for a feature selected by the user. Granting a permission does not cause the App to send personal information to us. Users can review or revoke permissions at any time in their device settings, although disabling a required permission may prevent the related feature from working.

We do not use device permissions to access personal content for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes. Availability and wording of permissions can vary by App version, device, and operating-system version.

06 · External parties

App stores, purchases, and external links

Apple App Store and Google Play may independently process information when a user searches for, downloads, purchases, updates, or reviews an App. That processing is controlled by Apple or Google and is governed by the privacy policy and account settings of the applicable store. We do not receive users’ complete payment-card or bank-account details from an app store.

If a user voluntarily follows a link from an App to a website, app store, email application, or another external service, that service may collect information under its own privacy policy. A link does not mean that Aviation Study Guides receives the information collected by the external service.

Operating systems and device manufacturers may also create technical logs or diagnostics according to the user’s device settings. Those platform-level activities are separate from personal-information collection by our Apps.

07 · Retention and deletion

We have no App user profile to retain or delete

Because the Apps do not submit personal information to us, we do not maintain an App user account or personal-information record that must be retained. Any preferences or progress stored only on the device remain there until the user resets the App, clears its storage, or uninstalls it.

Information managed independently by Apple, Google, a device manufacturer, or an external website must be accessed or deleted through that provider’s controls and is subject to that provider’s retention practices.

08 · Children

Children’s privacy

The Apps are aviation education tools intended for pilots, pilot candidates, aviation professionals, and users studying aviation subjects. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Apps.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information directly to Aviation Study Guides outside the Apps, the parent or guardian may contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

09 · Security

Data minimization is our primary safeguard

The most effective way to reduce privacy risk is not to collect personal information that is unnecessary. Our Apps are designed around that principle. We also review App functionality and distribution practices with the goal of limiting access to data and permissions.

No electronic device or platform can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should keep their operating system and Apps updated, protect access to their device, and download Apps only from official stores.

10 · Changes

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy when an App changes, legal requirements evolve, or we need to clarify our practices. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. If a future App version begins collecting personal information, this policy and the applicable app-store disclosure will be updated before or when that change is introduced.
